A comprehensive database of over 8000 journals, magazines, and news transcripts in physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature, and other subjects.  Many articles are available fulltext.  Academic OneFile has replaced Expanded Academic ASAP under the listing "General Databases" located under the Articles and Databases link on the A.U. Libraries homepage because it offers a wider selection.

Ever wonder how much companies spend on advertising each year?  This new publication from Schonfeld & Associates, Inc. reports on the advertising budgets of 1000 major corporations for the past two years and includes projected spending budgets for the next year.  It is most useful when comparing spending by companies in the same industry or comparing advertising spending among different industries.  Also included are ratios that compare a company's spending to its sales and gross margin.  Lastly, you can see the change in ad growth and sales growth over the previous year.

Accounting Research Manager is a comprehensive database of expert-written analytical accounting, auditing, government, and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) information as well as full-text access to the primary source data used by accountants and auditors on a daily basis.

It includes original pronouncements, statements, opinions, and guides from the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the Association of Independent Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  Official rules and orders from the Public Company Auditing Oversight Board (PCAOB) are also included.
