Relationship Violence Is Not Okay Book Display in Recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The display, featuring dozens of volumes, plus handouts, plus a Drop Post Secret box where people can anonymously write about their experiences or thoughts on domestic violence, is located on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library near the printers in the Learning Commons area.   The display will be featured there for the month of October.

The guide provides access to resources relating to immigration including history and background information, statistical sources, and current policy and news.

Caver in 2017, this is the first volume of a projected multi-volume set.   It is located in the Alabama Collection of the Special Collections and Archives Department which, in turn, is located on the Ground Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library.   The call number is F 324 .C38 2017.

The Auburn University Libraries is supplying an online guide to the “Critical Conversations” speaker series, which shares diverse perspectives and ideologies on topics such as inclusion, intellectual diversity, and free speech in higher education.  These talks take place in various campus locations.

The October 5 talk features Barbra Pierce Bush, CEO and Co-Founder of Global Health Corps, and Jenna Bush Hager, Contributing Correspondent for NBC's "Today," who will speak on Diverse Perspectives on Women Leaders.
