Established Spring 2014, the AU Seed Library, located on the First Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library near the Circulation Desk and Atrium glass elevator by the hydration station and drinking fountains, is back in operation.

See the AU Seed Library web site  for more information.   The AU Seed Library functions similar to the library in general:  patrons check out seeds, grow plants from the seeds, and, ideally, bring back seeds from the plants to add to the library.  Donations of seeds are appreciated including open seed packets.

The AU Seed Library is FREE and open to the public.

See the AU Seed Library web site or Facebook page  for more information.

The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and the Auburn University Libraries are hosting THATCamp Alabama in Auburn September 4 - 5.

THATCamp Alabama is a free "unconference" - a space to share skills and experiences with technology and humanities and brainstorm ways that we can work collaboratively on digital projects within our institutions and beyond.  We are looking for technologists and humanists at all levels and hope to host a diverse group representing researchers, teachers, librarians, curators, archivists, and others.  All participants plan an active role in setting the event agenda by proposing sessions that reflect their interests.

Please visit alabama2015.thatcamp.org for more information.  Registration is free and open to the public.   Space is limited.
