The Auburn University Libraries have produced a digital collection of school catalogs dating from 1860 to 1904.  The collection includes catalogs from the East Alabama Male College, the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama, and the Alabama Polytechnic Institute, all predecessors of Auburn University.

The catalogs provide course information, lists of names of faculty members and students, admissions criteria, expected costs, graduates, board members, rules of conduct, and images of campus life.

The Auburn University Historical Catalogs Collection is a project of Special Collections and Archives in cooperation with the Systems Department.  The collection is part of the Auburn University Digital Library which is accessible via the Auburn University Libraries homepage (just click on the Digital Collections link located under the Quick Links heading center bottom of the screen).
