Through the generosity of the College of Business, a Bloomberg Terminal has been installed in the Learning Commons located on the Second Floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. The terminal is a 24-hour, global financial services system that provides financial, economic and government information covering all market sectors. It features company financials, market data spanning more than 20 years, charts, statistics and current news reports

The Bloomberg Terminal is a dedicated computer terminal for accessing financial data electronically. It seamlessly integrates real-time and historical information on about 5 million bonds, equities, commodities, currencies and funds. It also comprises data on almost every publicly traded company and biographies of more than 1 million people. It has financial, political, and business news as well.

The Bloomberg Terminal is especially useful to researchers in the following disciplines:  Business, Health Care and Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Agriculture (Agricultural Economics), Journalism, Law, and Public Policy (Political Science).

Bloomberg provides free online training resources through their “Bloomberg University” which include both video tutorials and tests.  Free 24/7 online live support integrated into the Bloomberg software.

Please NOTE:   The Bloomberg Terminal is available to Auburn University faculty, staff, and students only.  You must create a log in. A cell phone number will be necessary to authenticate a new user.

The Design Alabama Newsletters Collection is now available online via the Auburn University Digital Library .

Design Alabama is a publication focusing on architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, graphic design, industrial design, and urban design and community planning in the State of Alabama.  The years currently available include 1988-2009.

 

The Design Alabama Newsletters Collection  is located by visiting the Auburn University Libraries homepage and then clicking on the Digital Collections link located in the lower central part of the homepage under the "Quick Links" heading.  Click on the Browse Collections link to then get to the Design Alabama Newsletters Collection .
